L'Ordine Teutonico nel Mediterraneo

The center aims at

1. promoting research on the history of the Teutonic Order in the mediterrenean area.
2. launch interdisciplinary projetcs with institutions doing research in the countries where the Teutonic Order were present (Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Spain), in particular with the International Historical Commission for the Research on the Teutonic Order (Vienna);
3. promoting restoration, conservation and utilization of monumental, archeological and artisctic heritage related to the Teutonic Order in the mediterranean area;
4. publish sources on the history of the Teutonic Order in the mediterrenean;
5. promote the dissemination of result of the research on the history of the Teutonic Order.

The center is active with bibliographic collections, scholarly meetings, workshops and conferences,acts as contact point for scholars, academic institutions, publishing houses e promoting agencies, supports and promotes research and editing projects on the topic with particular focus at the work of young scholars.
